Southeastern Virginia Chapter (SEVA)
The Southeastern Virginia Chapter of ASTD is the primary professional organization for workplace learning and performance professionals in Hampton Roads. Formed in 1975, it's proud to be one of the oldest ASTD regional chapters. SEVA ASTD today is stronger than ever with a committed board and supportive members together creating new ways for local training professionals to grow and excel in the training industry.
Our events take place on both the Peninsula as well as the Southside of Hampton Roads and offer dinner events, luncheons, mixers, and workshops.
As the field of training cuts across multiple industries, SEVA ASTD strives to partner with other local professional organizations (such as ISPI, SHRM, and NSA) to build upon common areas of expertise.
SEVA is a CORE approved chapter of The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
